👤 Short Biography

Md. Monir Hossain is a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), with academic, research, and professional experience in computing and software development. His teaching areas include Programming, Software Engineering, and Web Engineering, with a focus on developing students’ theoretical understanding, programming skills, and practical problem-solving abilities.

His research interests include Cyber Security and Data Science, with a focus on applying computing technologies to real-world challenges. He is also involved in a research collaboration with Dr. Jesmin, Professor in the Department of Genetic Engineering, University of Dhaka, contributing to an interdisciplinary research project that brings together computer science and genetic engineering.

Alongside his academic and research activities, he works as a PHP-based Full-Stack Developer, developing web applications and software solutions. Prior to his academic career, he worked in the software industry as a Programmer and Software Engineer, gaining practical experience in software development, system design, and real-world software engineering practices.
